Internship Program

White Light Music affords undergraduate college students a real world introduction into the entertainment industry. Interns are provided with a hands-on opportunity to utilize their skills while learning the business from industry professionals. Internships are unpaid but may be taken for college credit. • Write Bio’s, press releases and articles for printed media and electronic distribution

Publishing

• Find songwriters, and songs for publishing purposes

• Assist in song licensing

• Coordinate with PRO companies (ASCAP, BMI, SESAC, etc.)

Accounting

• Record keeping and project budgeting

• Track artist royalties

A&R

• Scout new talent

• Assist in Artist development

Radio Promotion

• Assist in getting radio and internet radio airplay for new Artist releases

• Formulate and execute artist promotional campaigns

Marketing

• Project management

• Market research

• Develop and implement marketing strategies using media outlets, blogs and social communities

Sales

• Analyze consumer trends

• Retail and Digital Distribution

• Track Artist rankings on Billboard, and other charts

Advertising

• Create advertisements

Audio / Video

Legal

• Copyrights and licenses

• Review contracts and other legal documents

Graphic Design

• Design Artist pages for MySpace, Facebook etc.
